The NT N07 is a true Zeppelin through and through with its internal rigid framework which combines lightweight carbon fibre triangular frames with three aluminium longerons braced with aramid cables. One longeron passes along the top of the airship and the others follow the blue lines you can see on the image below. All of the main components, such as fins and engines, are mounted directly on to this structure. The three Textron Lycoming engines can be 'vectored' which means they can swivel up to 120 degrees and combined with the lateral fan on the tail this results in a superb level of manouvrability. Fly-by-wire flight control systems operated by a small side-stick allow the pilot to make very precise control inputs.
